IT - Technical Support Assistant
Duties & Responsibilities:
Network Troubleshooting: Identifying and fixing network issues, such as outages, and determining their causes
Maintaining Hardware Assets: Installing and maintaining computer hardware, such as servers, routers, and switches
Configuring Networks: Configuring routers and related equipment for local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs)
Security: Configuring security settings and access permissions and analyzing and reporting security breaches, performing security updates and building firewalls and other security features. Coordination with the central support team for all kinds of reporting about security controls.
Monitoring Performance: Monitoring and testing network software and tools and analyzing network performance.
Supporting Users: Providing end-user support in person and remotely, installing software: Installing network software, such as security or firewall software
Job Requirements & Qualifications:
University freshers are well encouraged
Must Have Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or Information Systems
Must have in depth understanding of- Computer Technology, IT Security Terms, IT Networking, Networking Topologies, SDLC, Etc.
Very strong and fluent in English communication and presentation (IS A MUST)
Willing to learn and ability to manage priorities, Work as a proactive team member.
Following will be considered as an added qualification- knowledge in:
Windows Server, Cloud Security, SharePoint, Operating System
Basics Understanding of- ITIL Processes
Knowledge in Project Management Tools- PMP, Prince2, JIRA, MS VISIO
